This is video five in the Financial Stress & Money Mindset series.

In the last video, we talked about the 1000-piece puzzle and how achieving goals happens one step at a time. We explored taking action steps that are aligned with your goals, building success along the way, and acknowledging progress as you move forward.

At the end of that video, I introduced the idea of vibration.

This is a topic that can sometimes be misunderstood, so I want to explain it in a practical way.

The Vibration Behind Your Goals

Think back to the 1000-piece puzzle.

If every step toward your goal is filled with frustration, negativity, self-criticism, and resistance, then when you finally reach the goal, the sum total of the experience is actually a thousand moments of not feeling good.

You may achieve the goal, but you may not enjoy the process.

Most people don’t want that.

Most people want to achieve their goals and feel good while doing it.

Earlier in this series, we explored the deeper essence behind goals.

Why do you want the goal?

What feeling are you actually looking for?

Freedom?

Confidence?

Peace?

Security?

Fulfillment?

If those are the things you want, then they need to become part of the journey itself.

How we live today is the tomorrow we are creating.

The Radio Station Analogy

A useful way to understand vibration is to think of a radio station.

Imagine there is a station broadcasting at 100 FM.

Everything on that station feels aligned with what you want.

The music feels good.

The energy feels positive.

The messages resonate with you.

Then there is another station at 90 FM.

The music doesn’t connect with you.

The conversations don’t inspire you.

It simply doesn’t feel aligned.

Now imagine your radio is tuned to 90 FM.

No matter how much you want to hear what is playing on 100 FM, you cannot receive that station because your radio is tuned somewhere else.

The station is there.

It is broadcasting.

But you are not tuned into it.

The same principle applies to our goals.

If the essence of your goal exists at one vibration, but your thoughts, habits, emotions, and daily focus are consistently tuned somewhere else, there is a disconnect.

To move toward the life you want, you need to begin tuning yourself toward the experience you are trying to create.

The Apple Pie Example

Another way to think about this is with something very simple.

Imagine you decide to make an apple pie.

You gather all the ingredients.

You prepare the crust.

You spend time and effort putting everything together.

But instead of apples, you fill the pie with pears.

No matter how much intention you put into that pie, it is not an apple pie.

It is a pear pie.

You get what you put into it.

In the same way, if you want to create confidence, self-worth, success, fulfillment, or abundance, those qualities need to become part of the ingredients you are putting into your life.

This is where the 1000-piece puzzle becomes important.

Each piece matters.

Each thought matters.

Each action matters.

Each step contributes to the final result.

Thoughts and Emotions Have Momentum

Our thoughts and emotions are constantly influencing our experience.

When we feel inspired, hopeful, appreciative, curious, or engaged, there is often a greater sense of energy and momentum.

When we feel defeated, hopeless, or consumed by negativity, there is often much less energy available.

Even our language reflects this.

People often say:

•I feel down.

•I feel low.

•I feel stuck.

Or:

•I feel uplifted.

•I feel inspired.

•I feel energized.

The emotional state we spend the most time in influences how we experience life.

This doesn’t mean we should force ourselves to be positive all the time.

In fact, that usually doesn’t work.

You Can’t Think Positive All the Time

One of the biggest misunderstandings around manifestation and vibration is the belief that you should never feel anything negative.

That isn’t realistic.

We are human.

We are going to have difficult days.

We are going to experience challenges.

We are going to feel sadness, frustration, disappointment, fear, and uncertainty at times.

The goal is not to suppress those experiences.

The goal is not to deny them.

The goal is to become more aware of what we do with what we feel.

This is where the awareness practice becomes so important.

The Awareness Practice and Raising Your Vibration

The awareness practice helps us stay present with our experience.

We can acknowledge:

•What am I feeling?

•What am I thinking?

•What am I doing with this experience?

A difficult situation does not automatically lower our vibration.

Resistance to it does.

When we resist reality, fight against what is happening, and become consumed by negativity, we tend to get stuck.

But when we can acknowledge a challenge and ask:

“What can I learn from this?”

or

“How can I grow through this experience?”

something begins to shift.

We remain present.

We stay connected to ourselves.

We begin moving forward rather than becoming trapped in resistance.

The Stories We Repeat

Pay attention to what you talk about most.

When you meet a friend, what is the first thing you talk about?

Do you focus on:

•what went wrong

•what frustrates you

•what you dislike

•what is missing

Or do you also spend time talking about:

•what inspires you

•what you’re learning

•what you’re grateful for

•what is working

•what excites you

Neither approach changes what happened.

But one tends to reinforce negativity while the other helps build a more supportive foundation.

This is not about pretending life is perfect.

It is about becoming aware of where your attention lives most of the time.

Financial Stress & Money Mindset Series:

Bringing the Essence of Your Goal Into Daily Life

As you continue working toward your goals, begin asking yourself:

What is the essence of what I want?

Maybe you want:

•confidence

•freedom

•peace

•fulfillment

•self-worth

•success

•abundance

Now ask:

How can I bring a little more of that into today?

How can I bring it into this step?

How can I bring it into this conversation?

How can I bring it into this challenge?

The more we bring the essence of our goals into daily life, the more we begin experiencing them before the goal is fully achieved.

In many ways, that is already part of manifestation.

Instead of waiting for life to change before we feel differently, we begin cultivating those qualities now.

Final Thoughts

This week, spend some time reflecting on the radio station analogy.

What are you tuning into most often?

Where does your attention go?

How much time do you spend focusing on what you don’t want?

How much time do you spend focusing on what inspires you, grows you, and supports the life you want to create?

Continue the awareness practice.

Stay present with what you feel.

Allow yourself to experience life without unnecessary resistance.

And begin bringing more of the essence of your goals into each step of the journey.

In the next video, we’re going to explore gratitude in a different way and how emotion can help create the higher vibrations that support confidence, self-worth, manifestation, and meaningful change.
