This is video number one in the series, and today I want to talk about the foundation.
The most important thing if you’re trying to make changes in your life, trying to attract more abundance, trying to attract more money, trying to create something different than what is going on now, but it’s not working.
You’re doing everything. You’re doing all the manifesting techniques. You’re meditating, visualizing, trying to raise your vibration, focusing on what you want, and trying many different techniques that are actually good techniques, but they’re just not working.
If this is happening to you, this series is going to help you a lot.
We need to really have the correct foundation before we start putting these manifesting techniques on top of it. Otherwise, they’re just not going to hold.
A lot of things are happening under the surface.
If we’re here in life and we want to get there, but we have unfinished business from the past, lack of self-confidence, feelings of not being worthy or good enough, anxiety, panic, emotional overwhelm, or difficulty handling our emotions, there’s no way we can fully handle more until we learn to fully handle where we are now.
We need to become more grounded and emotionally capable with where we are before we can truly level up.
That’s what this first video is about.
It’s about creating the foundation first.
Understanding Where You Are
Imagine you’re trying to get to Disneyland with one of the old-fashioned maps.
You look at the map and see Disneyland. Great. Let’s go.
So you start driving in what you think is the right direction. But you keep driving and never get there. You don’t see signs. You feel confused. You keep going in circles.
Why?
Because there’s one important thing missing.
Where are you on the map?
Before you can move toward your goals, you need to clearly understand where you are right now.
Once you know where you are, then you can start taking steps in the right direction. Then you can start understanding what is working and what is not.
A lot of people are frustrated because they feel like nothing is working.
They feel stressed about money all the time.
They feel like something keeps sabotaging them.
They procrastinate.
They get distracted.
They feel overwhelmed.
They question themselves.
“What’s wrong with me?”
But often, the deeper issue is that we haven’t yet created a strong internal foundation.
The Importance of Awareness
The only way we can really understand where we are is by spending time with our inner self.
This is where mindfulness and awareness practices become very important.
A simple awareness practice is to sit every day, preferably first thing in the morning, and spend time being with your feelings and emotions.
When you start connecting to your emotions, they will begin guiding you toward what needs healing.
There are often limiting beliefs operating under the surface.
There may be old beliefs about money.
Old beliefs about success.
Old beliefs about self-worth.
For me personally, I grew up with beliefs that you had to work extremely hard physically for money, but you couldn’t really enjoy it or spend it. There was always this feeling of scarcity.
That created unhealthy money habits.
Trying to make money quickly.
Spending it quickly.
Feeling afraid there would never be enough.
These deeper subconscious patterns shape how we operate in life.
The Subconscious Mind and Survival Patterns
Your subconscious mind operates as a survival system.
It does not fully understand past, present, and future like the conscious mind does.
If something painful happened long ago, your subconscious may still react as though the danger is happening now.
For example, maybe when you were younger you got laughed at during a presentation at school.
The humiliation felt overwhelming.
Now years later, every time you try to put yourself out there, start a business, speak publicly, or move toward success, anxiety appears.
Your subconscious mind is trying to protect you.
It’s trying to stop you from ever feeling that pain again.
The anxiety is not trying to destroy you.
It is trying to protect you.
But protection is not always helping you thrive.
We want the subconscious mind to begin aligning with your conscious goals and present reality instead of continuously repeating old survival patterns.

Awareness Practice for Financial Stress and Money Mindset
The awareness practice is simple.
Sit every day for 5–15 minutes.
Spend time with your breath.
Spend time with your body feelings and emotions.
Notice how your mind keeps pulling you away.
Notice the thoughts.
Notice the distractions.
And gently bring your attention back.
You can start with your eyes closed.
Focus on five or ten breaths.
Then open your eyes and focus softly on a point in the room.
Keep bringing your attention back to the present moment.
Over time, you begin creating more comfort with your emotions.
You start building a healthier relationship with your mind, your feelings, and your nervous system.
You begin teaching your subconscious mind that it is safe to be present.
This becomes very important because many limiting beliefs are rooted in emotional states that once felt unsafe.
If you practice slowing down, breathing, and being present in a safe environment every day, eventually your nervous system starts associating presence and awareness with safety.
Then when life becomes stressful, you have a tool to come back to.
You notice the fear.
You notice the doubt.
You notice the anxiety.
And instead of completely disconnecting or reacting automatically, you can return to your breath and reconnect to the present moment.
Looking at the Patterns Honestly
Start asking yourself honest questions.
What patterns keep sabotaging me?
What beliefs do I have around money?
Do I feel good enough?
Do I feel worthy of success?
What was my emotional environment growing up?
Was I encouraged?
Was I criticized?
Was I emotionally supported?
Were emotions ignored?
Were you taught to suppress your feelings?
Was money scarce, stressful, or associated with negative experiences?
These experiences often become limiting beliefs and emotional habits that continue operating in adulthood.
If deep down you do not feel safe, worthy, capable, or confident, it becomes very difficult to create lasting success.
That is why understanding the foundation is so important.
If we skip steps and try to force success on top of an unstable emotional foundation, things often collapse or repeat the same patterns.

So begin with the awareness practice.
Spend time with your breathing.
Spend time with your emotions.
Notice the patterns.
Write things down.
Be honest with yourself.
In the next video, we’re going to start looking more deeply at the limiting beliefs and emotional patterns you may have discovered through this awareness practice and how they may be affecting your confidence, success, and relationship with money.
And slowly begin building a healthier foundation for confidence, abundance, emotional resilience, and growth.
