Hi, this is video number two in the Financial Stress & Money Mindset video series.
How did the awareness practice go from the first video?
Did you sit and go into your breathing and look deeper into the feelings in your body?
Did you start contemplating what beliefs may be holding you back?
What habits or emotional patterns seem to cause things to break down in your life?
What did you learn?
Maybe the first video really resonated with you.
Maybe you understood the importance of needing to build the foundation first before trying to create change or manifest success.
But then maybe you went to do the awareness practice… and you never did it.
That in itself can teach you a lot.
Maybe you noticed:
•procrastination
•distraction
•overwhelm
•avoidance
•lack of follow-through
•difficulty slowing down
•fear
•self-doubt
These are important things to notice.
If you did sit and practice, maybe you started noticing beliefs like:
•“I’m not worthy.”
•“I’m not good enough.”
•“I can’t follow through.”
•“I can’t create success.”
These deeper subconscious beliefs often quietly undermine confidence and affect our actions without us fully realizing it.
Understanding the Problem Before the Solution
One of the most important things is understanding the problem before trying to force the solution.
That’s why this awareness practice matters.
If you didn’t do the practice, I encourage you to start now.
And if you did do it, keep going.
I suggest practicing every day.
Even just a few minutes.
This practice is not only about calming the mind.
It is helping you begin building the attributes of the person you need to become in order to create the success you want.
The awareness practice helps cultivate:
•focus
•follow-through
•self-awareness
•discipline
•emotional presence
•confidence
•consistency
•self-trust
These are important building blocks.

The Awareness Practice
The awareness practice is simple.
Sit every day for a few minutes.
Go into your breathing.
Notice your thoughts.
Notice your emotions.
Notice how often the mind pulls you away.
You may get distracted hundreds of times.
That’s okay.
The practice is simply learning to come back.
You get distracted.
You come back.
You feel doubt.
You come back.
You think “this isn’t working.”
You come back.
Over time, this begins building the ability to stay present with yourself.
It helps you learn to become more comfortable with uncomfortable feelings.
This becomes very important because if you cannot handle where you are now emotionally, it becomes difficult to handle more.
We need to learn how to become more grounded and emotionally capable with where we are.
That is part of creating a strong foundation.
Creating Safety Through the Awareness Practice
A very important part of the awareness practice is creating a sense of safety.
Each time you sit, take a moment to look around and acknowledge:
“I am safe right now.”
Choose a time and space where you feel comfortable and unlikely to be interrupted.
Even if you only practice for three or five minutes a day, the consistency matters.
Small consistent steps build confidence.
Trying to force huge changes too quickly often creates overwhelm and leads to quitting.
Little steps done consistently create much greater long-term success.
The awareness practice helps you:
•build follow-through
•build confidence
•build trust in yourself
•build discipline
•strengthen self-worth
•create healthier habits
•learn emotional presence
You are practicing showing up for yourself.
You are saying:
“I matter enough to take this time for myself.”
That is very important.
The Subconscious Mind and Fear Patterns
Many people experience fear of failure.
But there is also often fear of success.
Success may bring:
•more visibility
•more responsibility
•more attention
•more pressure
•more social interaction
If the subconscious mind associates those things with anxiety or emotional discomfort, it may unconsciously sabotage opportunities or pull you back into familiar patterns.
That’s why awareness becomes so important.
The more you practice sitting with yourself, observing your thoughts and emotions, and noticing patterns without judgment, the more clearly you begin seeing what may actually be limiting you.
Looking at Your Patterns More Deeply
This week, continue observing the patterns.
Notice:
•What stops you from following through?
•What beliefs come up around success?
•What emotions arise when you think about putting yourself out there?
•What behaviours keep repeating?
•What habits undermine your progress?
Then begin asking:
How do these beliefs manifest in my daily life?
How do they affect my actions?
How do they affect my confidence, focus, motivation, and ability to move forward?
We are not trying to force major changes right now.
We are trying to build awareness.
Little successes matter.
A thousand small successes build much more lasting change than trying to force huge leaps before the foundation is ready.

Final Thoughts
This week, continue the awareness practice.
Take a little more time to sit with yourself.
Notice what beliefs and emotional patterns continue showing up.
Notice where you struggle with follow-through.
Notice where fear, doubt, distraction, or overwhelm pull you away.
Then gently come back.
Little steps matter.
Small consistent successes build confidence over time.
As we continue building this foundation, we’ll begin creating more clarity around your goals, direction, intentions, and the kind of life you truly want to create.
In the next video, we’re going to start exploring:
•clarity of goals and direction
•what you truly want
•why it matters to you
•creating a clearer path forward
•aligning your focus, energy, habits, and actions
