This is the next video in the Creating Life Purpose series. In the last video, I talked about how real change requires willingness to change from within. If we want our life to shift in meaningful ways, we must be willing to shift ourselves. And just like tending a garden, this involves pulling weeds, watering consistently, and nurturing what we want to grow.
Today, we’re going deeper into that inner garden—specifically into intuition and how connecting with your inner feeling helps you live a life guided by purpose rather than habit or fear.
Why Intuition Matters for Life Purpose
Your spirit already knows your purpose. It communicates through your body—through subtle feelings, sensations, and inner nudges. But if you’re disconnected from your body or constantly pushing away emotions, it becomes very difficult to follow that guidance.
This is why the awareness practice is so important. When you sit, breathe, feel your body sensations, and stay present, you reconnect with the deeper intelligence within you. This presence is what aligns you with your purpose.
Intuition isn’t a loud voice in your head. It is a quiet feeling, a sense of flow, a gentle pull toward what is aligned with your highest good.
Using Awareness Practice to Strengthen Intuition
The awareness practice is the foundation. It helps you:
•Feel your body sensations without resisting them
•Become present rather than dissociated
•Notice the difference between intuition and old beliefs
•Stay connected to the inner guidance of your heart
When you sit and simply feel your breath, your feet on the floor, the temperature on your skin, you are aligning with the present moment. And the present moment is where your spirit speaks.
Your spirit expresses itself through your physical form—so connecting to your body is connecting to your purpose.
Intuition as a Daily Practice
Think of strengthening intuition like going to the gym. You build the muscle by practicing with small decisions.
Try asking simple questions throughout your day:
•What feels right next?
•Which direction feels lighter?
•Should I take this road or that one today?
•Does this choice feel aligned or does it feel heavy?
Notice the feeling in your body—not your thoughts.
Thoughts often come from old subconscious beliefs, such as “I’m not good enough,” “I shouldn’t trust myself,” or “I might make the wrong choice.” Intuition feels different. It is lighter, more open, and more expansive. It doesn’t criticize you.
Start small. Practice with minor choices so you can learn the language of your own intuition.
Over time, you begin to feel the difference between fear and guidance… between old programming and true inner direction.
Why This Matters for Major Decisions
Studies show that highly successful people often rely on intuition when making important decisions. Not because they ignore logic, but because intuition integrates more information than the conscious mind can process.
Your intuition is connected to your spirit—the part of you that knows your path, your gifts, and your direction.
When you practice connecting with your body and inner feeling, you are aligning with your purpose—present moment by present moment.
Living a Path of Heart
If your life purpose is guided through your heart, then learning to listen to your feelings is essential. Your heart does not push, criticize, or command. It gently guides.
Try asking your heart each morning:
“Guide me today toward what is most aligned with my life purpose.”
Listen for the feeling—not the thoughts. At first, you may second-guess yourself, especially if you are used to disconnecting from your emotions or pushing through discomfort. But with time, the clarity strengthens.
Soon, you will start living a path of heart—a life where your days naturally align with purpose, creativity, harmony, and who you truly are.
Continue Strengthening Your Inner Guidance
This process works even better when combined with your daily awareness practice:
•Sit and breathe each day
•Feel your body sensations
•Notice when thoughts pull you away
•Gently return to presence
•Ask your heart for guidance and notice the feeling that arises
Intuition grows through presence. Purpose grows through listening.
