Why My Fees Are What They Are

My fees reflect the value of the comprehensive support you receive through our work together. They are not just for the time spent during your session; they also cover the time and energy I invest in preparing for each session. On average, I spend approximately 30 minutes before and after each session reviewing your progress, making notes, and planning our next steps to ensure that every session is as impactful and tailored to your needs as possible.

In addition to my personal time, you’re also paying for my years of experience and training, which allow me to guide you effectively and avoid unnecessary emotional pain, confusion, and setbacks. I have personally walked the path of healing and growth, which helps me support you in overcoming the challenges that are holding you back.

A significant part of your therapy experience includes my Freedom Through Mindfulness (FTM) program. This program, which is included with your sessions, offers a unique and powerful combination of mindfulness-based practices and hypnotherapy techniques. It helps you work on and keep moving forward at home between sessions, ensuring that the progress you make is lasting. The FTM program is a transformative resource that supports emotional healing, stress relief, and personal growth, empowering you to build a solid foundation of self-acceptance and confidence. By working through the FTM program alongside our sessions, you’ll have a structured path that keeps you progressing toward your goals, even when we’re not in session.

During our initial consultation, I invite you to share what’s going on that you’d like to change, as well as how these challenges are adversely affecting your life. I will also ask questions to help me understand the root cause of your issues and what may be holding you back from achieving your goals. It’s a collaborative process where we’ll work together to gain insight into your challenges and explore potential directions for healing.

This consultation is a safe space, and you are welcome to share only what you feel comfortable with. There is no pressure to share anything you’re not ready to. It’s important that you feel heard and supported in this process. I will explain how we can work together and how I can best support you. This is a free 1-hour consultation done via Zoom/Video.

The initial consultation is approximately 60 minutes, and sessions are typically also an hour as well. There may be a 5-minute fluctuation depending on the flow of our conversation. This gives us ample time to get acquainted, discuss your goals, and ensure that we’re aligned in moving forward.

Sessions are available via Zoom/Video, in-person, or phone, depending on your preference and location. Zoom video sessions are highly recommended for their convenience, as they allow you to attend from the comfort of your home without needing to travel.

Before our sessions, I take time to prepare by reviewing your notes with care and attention. I ground myself to connect intuitively with both you and my spirit guides. This process allows me to be fully present and available to hold a safe, supportive space for you. I remain open to listening, considering your goals, and any changes in direction you may have.

Additionally, I connect with my highest self to receive guidance and clarity from your highest self. This helps ensure the direction of our session aligns with your goals and that our communication flows in a way that is easy to understand and uplifting for both of us.

It’s also helpful for you to reflect on any specific challenges or goals you’d like to address in the session, as this will help us make the most of our time together.

My approach combines mindfulness, spiritual practice, intuition, and the science of counselling hypnotherapy. This holistic method addresses both the conscious and subconscious aspects of your emotional and mental well-being, facilitating deep healing, personal growth, and transformation. My work is not just about talking through problems; it’s about uncovering and addressing the root causes of your issues and symptoms, then healing them at a deeper level.

A key component of my approach is the Freedom Through Mindfulness (FTM) program, which I created over decades of personal growth and experience working with clients. It is a program I’ve continually refined and evolved based on feedback from clients and my work facilitating it in workshops. The FTM program is the main structure I follow in sessions, and it provides a progressive path that starts by building—or rebuilding—the strong foundation that supports the desired changes in your life.

The program addresses all areas of our lives, integrating the mind, body, and spirit connection. It helps the conscious and subconscious minds work together as a team to create lasting change. Think of it like building a house: we begin with the foundation, then move on to building the floor, walls, and roof. The internal work—such as plumbing and electrical systems—aligns with our inner world, focusing on self-awareness, self-acceptance, self-love, confidence, emotional processing, intuition, and internal guidance. By supporting these fundamental areas, the FTM program ensures the lasting transformation you’re seeking.

You can expect results that help you build emotional resilience, self-acceptance, and the confidence to achieve your goals. Clients experience a deeper sense of self, increased clarity, and a stronger connection to their life purpose. They learn how to make and navigate change, let go of fears of rejection, and build self-confidence and self-esteem. Inner trust develops, leading to the ability to voice what they feel and create conscious relationships. You will also be able to communicate more clearly, set healthy boundaries, and learn what healthy self-care is—and how to implement it in your life.

Additionally, many clients experience profound healing through forgiveness—of past people, traumas, and even themselves—creating space for more peace and joy in their lives. The Freedom Through Mindfulness (FTM) program further enhances the work we do together, providing lasting tools for emotional healing, personal growth, and transformation.

The length of therapy depends on your individual needs and goals. Some clients progress quickly and complete the program in about 7-10 sessions, while others may take more time to integrate each section of the FTM program and process deeper challenges that arise along the way. It’s important to commit to the process, as the more consistently you engage—both in sessions and with the program—the deeper the transformation.

When we have a problem we don’t want, we naturally want that to change. Change is required, and with that comes the need to shift our perceptions and behaviours, which can bring up emotions, old energies, or traumas. These challenges require more time to safely process, which is best supported by continuing to come to sessions over a longer period. By opening yourself to trust and patience, I will help guide you through these challenges, supporting you every step of the way.

Some clients reach a point where they feel good but continue coming once or twice a month for 6 months or even a year. They find great benefit in this, as it helps them stay clear, on track, and continually evolving. Continued therapy supports refining their goals, habits, How long do I need to commit to working with you?, and inner tools, and is a valuable investment in their ongoing growth and forward momentum.

Absolutely! Many clients choose to continue therapy after completing the initial program in order to deepen their healing, address new challenges, or maintain and further refine their growth. Therapy is not just a one-time fix; it’s a lifelong journey. As you evolve, you may encounter new layers to explore, goals to refine, or habits and behaviors to further develop.

Some clients continue to come once or twice a month for several months or even a year. They find great benefit in maintaining their momentum, staying clear, and continually evolving. This ongoing support helps you stay on track with your goals, refine your inner tools, and work through any challenges that arise. It’s an investment in your long-term personal growth and emotional well-being.

I am here to support you throughout your journey, guiding you as you continue to grow, build confidence, and navigate life with greater ease and clarity. The work we do together, combined with the FTM program, ensures that you have the tools you need to continue making lasting changes in your life.

If you need to cancel a session, I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice. If you do not provide sufficient notice or do not have a valid reason for the cancellation, you are still responsible for paying for the session. If the cancellation is due to a good reason or a scheduling mixup, you will not be charged for the session.

I hold myself accountable as well—if I miss your session without a valid reason and within 24 hours, I will offer you a free session. If you miss a session but we’ve arranged a once-per-week schedule, this will not adversely affect your results. In fact, it might be a good opportunity for you to stretch yourself and see how well you can work on your goals in the time between sessions. However, it’s always best to attend your sessions as scheduled for optimal results.

You may be ready for therapy if you’re feeling stuck, going around in circles, or blocked in your life. If stress or anxiety is limiting your ability to move forward, and you’re seeking to understand what is causing these feelings and how to change them, therapy can help. If you’re tired of feeling tired, exhausted, unhappy, stressed, overwhelmed, controlled by fears, or worn out from negative thinking, therapy offers a path forward.

If you’ve tried to work on your own but feel that progress is slow, or you find yourself back in the same unhappy place despite all your efforts, therapy can help you break the cycle.

While the therapy process may involve some pain and difficulty as we uncover and work through your challenges, it is ultimately about moving forward. You will feel better as you progress, even through the difficult moments, because you’re working towards real, lasting change. Rather than continuing to expend energy just to cope and survive, therapy helps you redirect that energy into meaningful progress that yields results and lasting transformation.

In our sessions, we cover a lot, but due to time constraints and the need for personal contemplation and inner exploration, we can’t address everything in as much detail as we might like. Additionally, true transformation requires reflection, which is why the FTM program is designed to provide the tools and space for at-home reflection between sessions. It’s in this quiet contemplation and self-awareness that you’ll gain deeper insights and continue integrating the work we do together.

I do not offer sliding scale fees or payment plans as part of my promotion and information. However, I have occasionally provided a price reduction to a few highly committed clients who could not afford the full price, with the understanding that they are fully committed to following through with the work. These instances are rare, as I prefer to maintain the full price for my sessions.
