Good morning. This is video three in the Financial Stress & Money Mindset series.

In the last videos, we started looking at the awareness practice and understanding the deeper beliefs and emotional patterns that may be holding us back.

We talked about the importance of building a strong foundation first before trying to create major change or manifest success.

Because if the foundation underneath us is unstable, we can’t build much on top of it.

If we can’t handle where we are now emotionally, it becomes difficult to handle more.

Change requires change.

If you want something different in your life, it means becoming the person capable of handling the experiences, emotions, responsibilities, and changes required to achieve those goals.

That’s why the awareness practice is so important.

The Awareness Practice and Building a Strong Foundation

Every video in this series is going to come back to the awareness practice because it ties everything together.

The awareness practice helps us understand where we are right now emotionally, mentally, and physically.

In the first video, I talked about the Disneyland analogy.

If you have a map and you want to get to Disneyland, the most important thing first is knowing where you are on the map.

“You are here.”

Once you understand where you are, then you can begin plotting the route toward where you want to go.

The same thing applies in life.

We need to know:

•What beliefs are holding us back?

•What emotional patterns keep repeating?

•What fears or anxieties are affecting our decisions?

•What habits undermine our progress?

Without awareness, we keep repeating the same patterns unconsciously.

Why the Awareness Practice Matters

The awareness practice is not just about calming the mind.

It helps you:

•become present with your body

•connect with your breathing

•build emotional safety

•strengthen focus and follow-through

•build confidence and self-trust

•learn to stay present with uncomfortable feelings

A lot of limiting beliefs are connected to body feelings and emotions.

Fear of failure.

Fear of success.

Fear of being seen.

Fear of responsibility.

Feelings of not being worthy.

Feelings of not being good enough.

If we disconnect from those feelings constantly through distraction, procrastination, overthinking, avoidance, or anxiety, we never really learn how to work through them.

The awareness practice helps you slowly build the ability to stay present with what you feel.

That becomes extremely important when you start stepping outside your comfort zone and moving toward your goals.

Creating Safety With Your Emotions

Each time you practice, look around and acknowledge:

“I am safe right now.”

Choose a quiet place.

Choose a manageable amount of time.

Even three to five minutes consistently is powerful.

Small consistent successes matter much more than trying to force huge changes too quickly.

Trying to do too much too fast often creates overwhelm and strengthens the habit of quitting.

Little consistent successes build:

•confidence

•consistency

•emotional resilience

•discipline

•self-trust

•follow-through

The awareness practice also helps associate breathing, body awareness, and emotional presence with safety.

That means when difficult emotions arise later while making changes in life, your nervous system becomes more capable of handling them.

Looking at Your Goals More Deeply

Now we start asking:

What is it you actually want?

Why are you watching this Financial Stress & Money Mindset series?

What are you trying to create?

Maybe you want:

•more financial abundance

•success in business

•healthier relationships

•more freedom

•security

•a healthier lifestyle

•a home

•adventure

•confidence

•peace

Write the things you want down.

Then go deeper.

Ask yourself:

Why do I want these things?

What is the deeper motivation behind them?

Do I want safety?

Freedom?

Confidence?

Connection?

Adventure?

Recognition?

To feel important?

To feel secure?

To finally feel good enough?

Understanding the deeper motivation behind goals is very important.

Sometimes we think external success is going to fix internal feelings.

But if we do not feel confident, worthy, safe, or secure internally, external achievements often do not fully satisfy us.

We achieve one thing and then immediately need something else.

That’s why inner work matters.

Aligning With the Feelings You Want

A very important question is:

What is the essence of what you are really trying to experience?

Maybe you want more freedom.

More adventure.

More connection.

More peace.

More confidence.

More meaningful experiences.

Many of those feelings can begin being cultivated right now in smaller ways.

You can begin practicing confidence.

Practicing presence.

Practicing appreciation.

Practicing self-care.

Practicing connection.

Practicing being with what you feel.

This is part of creating alignment.

The awareness practice helps you start aligning internally with the kinds of feelings and attributes you want to build more of in your life.

Learning to Trust Yourself

As you continue practicing the awareness practice daily, you begin building more trust in yourself.

You begin recognizing:

“I can be with what I feel.”

“I can handle difficult emotions.”

“I can stay present.”

“I can take small consistent steps.”

Over time, this creates stronger self-confidence and emotional stability.

Then when life presents new opportunities, responsibilities, or challenges, you become more capable of handling them without immediately disconnecting, panicking, avoiding, or pulling away.

This also strengthens your ability to listen to your intuition, inner guidance, body awareness, and emotional signals in healthier ways.

Small Steps Build Big Change

Big goals can feel overwhelming when viewed all at once.

But one small step at a time is manageable.

That’s how meaningful change happens.

Little steps.

Little successes.

Consistency.

Over time, those small steps build momentum.

Eventually you look back and realize how much growth has happened.

Final Thoughts

This week, continue the awareness practice.

Keep observing the beliefs, emotions, fears, habits, and patterns that continue showing up.

Start writing down:

•what you want

•why you want it

•the deeper motivations behind it

•the feelings you are truly trying to create

Then continue practicing being present with yourself.

Little steps matter.

Small consistent changes build lasting transformation over time.

In the next video, we’re going to start exploring a powerful way of understanding growth and change through the analogy of a thousand-piece puzzle and how small pieces slowly come together to create the bigger picture.
